Value Based billing

For existing buildings with high water consumption we offer specialized services to reduce your water consumption by up to 50% consumption. Payment is based on generated savings.

  • As a consulting company, our fees are based on the value generated for our clients. Pearl Waterfree will assume monthly validated savings for a period of time as agreed in the contract.
  • To ensure success of the project; Pearl Waterfree will provide warranty & unlimited training for all staff for an agreed period.
  • Pearl Waterfree will replace & repair any faulty products at no additional cost over this period.
Approach and Milestones

1. Data Gathering & Contract Signing

  • We gather client data and complete a data collection sheet (DCS).
  • Full year of water invoices are to be provided to Pearl Waterfree Technologies.
  • Once the DCS is complete, Pearl Waterfree will, together with your representative, complete a detailed audit of the current water flow rates.
  • Perform leak assessment and recommend possible solutions (where necessary)
  • Draft and sign contract.

2. Installation

  • We use a collaborative approach to our water conservation projects; as such, we will require a dedicated team to assist us throughout the installation.
  • Installation will be phased by building or blocks and a roadmap is provided below.
  • Depending on the size of the project, installation may require a mobilization fee  which will be paid at the start of the project.

3. Two Month Trial Period & Audit

  • Pearl Waterfree provides a 2 month trial period to validate the 50% or more reduction in water consumption.
  • Pearl Waterfree will perform the required pressure balancing tests and health inspections.
  • Another audit and leak detection maybe performed at the discretion of Pearl Waterfree.
  • As necessary, Pearl Waterfree will place water conservation stickers to educate and promote awareness.

4. Payment & Maintenance Schedule

  • As a consulting company, our fees are based on the value generated for our clients. Pearl Waterfree will assume 2 year worth of validated savings. This amount will be paid after the 2 months validation period
  • (negotable).
  • To ensure success of the project; Pearl Waterfree will provide a 3 year warranty & unlimited training for all staff.
  • Pearl Waterfree will replace & repair any faulty products at no additional cost over maintenance period.
Value Based Billing Model

We generate long term monetary value for our clients through our unique cost saving methodology. As leaders in the field we guarantee savings of >50% for our clients. Upon validation of savings, our clients can pay us monthly on from their reduced water bills for a period of time. Graphs below show the before and after results for an example client.

In December 2018 we were in engaged by Botho University in Gaborone Botswana. They university has approximately 5,000 students and below are the results to date:

NB** In March 2019 – a pipe burst underground accounting for the increase consumption.

Overall we saved Botho University over 75% from their previous years consumption!
